Avalon Directors and Staff
And so we discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which
develops spontaneously in the human being.
It
was with the shared vision of a child-centered program that Christine Keery,
Angie Samis and Sherry VanDerKooi formed Avalon Children's Montessori School,
a small, private school in 1999. All three hold Montessori diplomas and are
wholly committed to the Montessori philosophy of education.
